USM Student Association Management and Monitoring
Student Association Management and Monitoring system is a web-based application system that allows users to apply for activity proposals by associations, manage and monitor student associations. This system will prepare a standardized form for associations representative to propose new activities. Thus, the students only required to fill in the data needed for the application and just follow the process to apply their activities. All the data are stored in the database, removing the risk of failure or redundancy of the data input. For the staff, they may apply the CRUD process which are create, read or view, update and delete the data of the associations. The current paper-based system is known as time consuming and waste of paper, since there are several processes to apply for activity proposals needed. Thus, this system is compatible for the users especially during this COVID-19 pandemic as the users do not need to go to the office to apply for activities that will be held by the associations. Hence, we can avoid the risk of being infected from the viruses. This system is clearly implementing management through the use of technologies, as we are living in this advanced generation. All things can be accessed with the use of Internet, and we are free to use these technologies whenever and wherever we want. Me, myself as a student and representative of an association, would love to have a system like this to manage and keep track of the student associations as it is easier to implement rather than the current traditional method used.
