Almsgiving is demanded in all human's life regardless of their religion and culture. In order to make almsgiving one of the cultures for all human beings, parents need to take initiatives so that the family members or young generation continuously practice the spirit of giving. A family fund management system was developed as an Android mobile application entitled Seringgit Sehari. Seringgit Sehari is a platform for the families to record the transaction by default RM 1 per day. Besides, Seringgit Sehari will also notify the user of each transaction and store the report of money collected or withdraw. The representative of the family will enter the number of family members that are participating in the system then the system will generate the total amount of money collected in a certain duration.
The main objectives of this project are to develop an application that helps the family to collect and track one's family fund. Next, this project developed to provide future savings for the family's future needs. Moreover, this project also aims to cultivate the spirit of giving in family members which then they can also apply when meeting with unfortunate people.
The uniqueness of the project is it can be used as money saving platform for the family where the money collected can be used when any of unexpected circumstances. In addition, Seringgit Sehari will bring huge impact for the people who have a big family. Thus, the family will have a more secure funding system due to only family members have the dominance in overall process.
