Real-time security monitoring system for computing facility in SMK Bawong

'Real-time Security Monitoring System For Computing Facility in SMK Bawong' is a project that initiates with the purpose of secure the computing facility in SMK Bawong after an illegal intrusion happened which causes loss of computing facility in SMK Bawong. This project is developed according to the needs of SMK Bawong which is real-time monitoring, alarm triggering, instant notification, easy to access and control. The main IoT devices that used in this project is Raspberry Pi which runs the system coded with python. Other than that, there are several essential devices that use to complete the system which is motion sensor and ESP-32 camera module. In the system, Raspberry Pi act as the controller of the system which controls and manage the resource of other IoT devices and communicates with cloud services. Motion sensor is responsible to detect motion while ESP-32 camera module will capture a short video once the motion sensor is trigger. The video will be analysed to identify human intrusion. Notification will be sent to authority if the video captured any human intrusion occurred. The video will be store in cloud storage for further usage and backup. Other than that, authority can use website designed for this system to monitor the computing facility in real-time through ESP-32 camera module. Alert and notification will also be trigger if there are intrusion detected through image processing during real-time monitoring. The website is designed with secured authentication feature to avoid physical hacking. Other than that, the website can be used to change the setting of the system with simple and easy operation.
