Eng Yee Wen is a final year student at USM of School of Computer Science. She specializes in Software Engineering and minor in Management. At the university, Yee Wen learned a lot of skills and theories about Computer Science and able to apply the knowledge learned while doing projects. Recently, she finished her final year project which aimed to provide a platform for the community to manage caretaker services conveniently. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she intends to continue to learn and grow in the workplace.

Mobile Elderly care system
With age, people will become frailty and hard to escape the accumulation of chronic diseases. Most of the elderlies had the difficulty on take care of themselves. They need care assistance to assist their daily activities and to ensure their safety. Therefore, elderly care is very important and inevitable in the daily life of elderly with conditions. A good elderly care can ensure the elder's conditions managed well and prevent deterioration. However, it is not easy to find a suitable and reliable caretaker for elderly without a good platform. Hence, a mobile application named ElderCare is proposed to provide community a platform to search and hire caretaker for elderly.
Besides, ElderCare provides a good opportunity for new caretaker to find a suitable job. It also make the process of finding a caretaker more convenient for the care seeker. Thus, ElderCare is a good platform for both caretaker and care seeker to manage the elderly care services. This system is expected to let the user search for caretaker by different preferences such as gender, location, personality, religion and spoken language.
User who act as care seeker is able to view the profile of caretaker for more details and request for hiring. For the caretaker, he or she allows to accept or reject the job request in the system. Last but not least, this system promotes an efficient payment method for the elderly care services where all the transactions will be done through cashless form. As a conclusion, ElderCare can bring convenience for people who looking for elderly care or work as an elderly caretaker.
