MOHAMAD DAIM NAZMI BIN YUSRI
Mohamad Daim Nazmi Bin Yusri is a hardworking and competent person. At the Universiti Sains Malaysia, Daim is majoring in Information System Engineering and minoring in Management. He learned the significance of designing and bringing into existence the network systems and databases to process information that would support business functions and operations. Recently, he developed a project on enhancing an app named Kawan where it is an application to help the post-graduate student. He is currently finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. He is actively looking for an information system engineer role in the near future.

Warehouse Workers Simulation in Logistic Environment
RP005
In a warehouse, all the processes are done mainly by the workers operating in the warehouse. In this paper, a simulation model for the worker's movement in a warehouse is presented and discussed. In recent years, simulation studies are vastly used to increase manufacturing and the profit of a company. The study investigates pedestrian simulation models focusing on warehouse workers simulation and developing guidelines for simulation setting or parameters of warehouse workers. The warehouse of interest is the public warehouses that are the most affordable and accessible, among others. The worker's movement includes moving while lifting goods, labelling the inventory, order-picking, and moving out from the warehouse. The simulation model of the existing system was studied to understand further how the operation works. It was identified that the load that they carried and the speed of the workers when moving are the contributing factors that affected how the workers moved.
The simulation systems were developed using Cromosim, a Python library specializing in microscopic crowd motion simulation. This library will enable users to run simulations based on several models to test new configurations and investigate the possibility of programming its model in complex geometry. Besides, this simulation is based on five workers: Unloaders, Acceptors, Transferrers, Controllers and Loaders. Each individual is set with the parameters that their movement speed is different from each other to imitate the worker's actual movement. A warehouse commonly has around 1000 employees hired to ease the operations. Hence, every type of worker works in a group. Furthermore, the obstacle is added in the simulation to mimic the equipment in the warehouse, such as the pallet rack or the forklift.
