Driver Assistant: Driver Monitoring System Version I

This project is proposed to develop driver monitoring system that could act as an assistant for the driver during the driving process. The system is aimed to reduce fatal crashes caused by drivers distraction and drowsiness. The objectives of this project are too able determines whether or not a driver is looking aside or disturbed based on head pose estimation and eye tracking and the driver is falling asleep based on eye blinking and yawn detection. We have implemented a device to track driver diligence at all times using the main part computer vision system, such as Raspberry Pi, which is uniquely designed for the hardware platform, the video camera and the alert system for alarming. In short, this driver monitoring system can always monitor drivers to avoid accident in real time.
