YEE BOON HOW
Boon How is a final year Universiti Sains Malaysia undergraduate, majoring in Intelligent System and minoring in Software Engineering. With a strong belief that artificial intelligence is the future, Boon How proactively identifies real-life problems and solves them by applying what he had learnt in this field. He understood the importance of deploying an AI model into production in order to see its benefits. Recently, he completed a stock trading analysis project using reinforcement learning models. Boon How enjoys exploring new knowledge in this field but can also be found on a fishing trip or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen during his free time.

WhaleBot: Bursa Robo-Advisor
Trading stocks is a process which requires traders to make a decision based on the vast amount of data to ensure consistent profits in the long run. In this project, WhaleBot: Bursa Robo-Advisor is developed by integrating machine learning technologies to help traders analyze related data and make trading decisions.
Machine learning algorithms primarily Reinforcement Learning and Natural Language Processing are utilized to train the Artificial Intelligence model. The robo-advisor is able to perform weightage allocation by sector based on sentiment analysis and decide to buy or sell a particular stock with data related to technical and fundamental analysis.
In the web application, users can simulate the performance of pre-build models with historical data to judge their performance and gain confidence before proceeding to use the selected model in a live portfolio. A more adventurous user will be given the option to create a custom model based on his needs.
