My name is Wan Mohamad Khairul Nizam Bin Wan Mohd Kashahari and I am undergraduate of Computer Science studies in Universiti Sains Malaysia who majoring in Artificial Intelligence. I am an accomplished coder and programmer who loves spending free time making new projects to hone my existing skills. I have successfully created a few projects during my studies such as Java Games, created a few websites and applications for mobile phones. I have also worked in Toray Malaysia System Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in my internship years in Research and Development(AI) team and learnt a lot thus dedicated myself in learning AI in depths.

robotic pet
The project that I�m making are the robotic pet as my main project and this idea come from my experience and passion in pursuing artificial intelligence field. I�ve worked in research and development team in AI department and got to work with computer vision and machine learning during my internship, thus I am inclined to try merge the two technology together in this robot.
The Robot that I�m designing is called Venti due to its height nearing a coffee cup that I used to drink. Venti abilities are to be able to do hand signal recognition and save it into memory and also to be able to read hand gesture and respond to related gesture. The system that I used are machine learning using tensorflow and keras library to create a model which has been trained to recognized a few gestures. The model is then loaded into RaspberryPi and are tested using real time video capture. When the camera detected a gesture, it will do command that are programmed for it to do through the GPIO port in RaspberryPi.
The languages that I used are python 3 together with computer vision to achieve this. I also used Tensorflow and Keras for its Machine Learning capabilities.
