Zi Hao is a hardworking person, and when bugs appear, he will definitely solve them. He is always prepared to take on challenges and learn new knowledge to improve himself. As a computer science student, he has learned different coding languages such as Python, C++, Java, etc and majors in Artificial Intelligent. He is also an active guy who likes to join and take parts in organizing different event activities held in the university. He believes that coding is the key to simplifying every task and works that will make humans' lives easier and simpler.

Development of Smart Autonomous Drone System for Agriculture Application

AutoDrone is an Android mobile application to control a drone to fly through the selected area automatically. In the applications, the user can record or have a snapshot during the flight for future reference. This application is suitable for those who do not have much experience flying a drone because what the user needed to do is just input the height, speed, and area of interest, and the applications will take care of the flying mission. The user selects an area that will be gridded, and a path will be generated for the drone to travel. Some algorithms such as Wave Front Propagation and Gradient Ascending are applied so that the path generated will always cover the interested area. With AutoDrone, the user can also easily monitor the area of interest from above the sky or bird view, which might produce different insights into managing the area or other purposes. The target users of this application are more onto individual from agriculture where the user can look through bird view and manage their farm more conveniently as they have overall look on their farms. The application is more suitable for the farming sector because drone flying does not work best with many obstacles and might block the camera's view, or the drone might crash into obstacles. Besides automated path generation, AutoDrone provides a camera function and virtual joystick function where the user can access all basic functions of the drone in just one app. With AutoDrone, a flying drone is a lot easier.
