Development of Autonomous Mobile Robot Control using Voice Command
Mobility is one of the important factors that determines quality of life. With the advancement of technology, electrical wheelchair is developed to allow those with mobility impairment to move around independently. The existing control system for commercialized electronic wheelchair is not user-friendly to users with upper limb disability. Therefore, the proposed system is a voice command control system for autonomous mobile robot which represents the electric wheelchair. The system is expected to help the user to navigate the electric wheelchair in a known environment using voice command control. The system is non-intrusive and does not impose any physiological requirement on the user.
