This is an intelligent system which can help users to recognize grocery items. Sometimes, the grocery shoppers might not sure about the grocery items on the to-buy list prepared by their parents. Therefore, this intelligent system is designed to help them to recognize which grocery items they should buy. Usually in a family, sometimes the regular grocery shopper will ask his or her family member to shop for groceries. A problem arises when the one who is going to buy the groceries is not so sure about the items on the to-buy list. Even if the regular grocery shopper describes the look or price of certain grocery item, they might still hesitate about which to buy when they are in front of the shelves.
Hence, I came out with an idea, which is to build an application to solve this problem. This application is able to determine the grocery items by taking photos of the items when the users shop for groceries. I will use deep learning method to develop this application.
