In this modern era, students� performance becomes better through simulation activity. On top of that, investment-related course plays a significant role in the economic growth of a country. Investment is a very complex decision-making process which includes a lot of structured and unstructured data such as price per earnings ratio, debt equity ratio, earning per share, revenue, financial news and cash flow. Investor sometimes overlooked the important details that influence the stock market. In order to master the art of trading, a person must practice to strengthen one�s knowledge through experience. Therefore, a system that can help with the engagement between educators and students during learning session needs to be developed.
The idea behind this project is to build a paper trading platform with unique features which will become an educational aid that prioritize the element of edutainment. Features that have been integrated in this platform includes pop-up news, fast-forward historical data and scoreboard. This project is called GoTrade which the name itself encourages the end-users to freely trade and gain investing experience without having to use real money. Besides, this project will be accessible for everyone since it will be deployed as a web-based system. GoTrade is expected to assist the educators on giving both theory and practical knowledge during class session as it can accept multiple participants at once. In conclusion, this system will benefit the society as it can be used by anyone who wants to explore more on the stock market and help with the learning process.
