PREVENTER - Privacy Risk Event Assessment on Smartphone

Today, Covid-19 crisis has led to biggest number of employees globally bound to work remotely. The advancement of technology has been manipulated by cyber criminals to trick users. So, employees that working from home need to be extra careful as new coronavirus-themed phishing scams are leveraging fear, hooking vulnerable people, and taking advantage of workplace disruption. However, work from home tools have some drawbacks where it provides minimum features on event security. Therefore, we recommend an event contextual working from home or Privacy Risk Event Assessment on Smartphone (PREVENTER) system to help employees protect their own device while working from home during pandemic. The project system will be constantly update and this system also will implement alert for users. The system also will display the risk assessment result of each application in users devices so that user can easily check the app risk status. The final results demonstrate that the system have a better risk assessment result than the other existing system because we are adapting our own model by taking the event context. There are various hardware and software specifications required to make the system work properly. The overall system is reliable, accurate and useful to help both parties, employee, and organization to secure their private information. Therefore, we hope that our project will benefit organizations and consumer that home working and uses their own device.
