She shows interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) especially in machine learning as she believes that it can help humans in decision making. Recently, Adibah had finished a medical decision support system project using a machine learning algorithm. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Computer Science degree at Universiti Sains Malaysia with a major in Intelligent Systems and a minor in Management. She is looking for a systems analyst role for her future career.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Medical Decision Support system for heart disease patients
Nowadays, advanced technology have been widely used in healthcare sector. The medical staff are discovering new ways to use technology to monitor patients. Medical decision support system is the example of medical technologies that have been used by doctors and nurses to record patient data, to monitor patient health, and to improve healthcare and diseases control. In this study, we focus on developing a medical decision support system for heart disease patients. First, we compare the accuracy of several machine learning algorithms by training heart disease datasets that we get from internet. Next, the machine learning algorithm with the highest accuracy is used for data classification. Then, based on the machine learning algorithm, we predict the risk of being affected by heart disease based on patient biomedical data such as blood pressure, heart rate, etc. Lastly, the prediction results are displayed to doctors and nurses in the proposed web-based system so that the doctor can prescribe suitable treatment and medicine to the patient.
