Instructional Training Virtual Reality (Version 2.0)
GM010
There have been many accidents in the laboratory that we can observe to this day. This is due to the errors and incompetence of the students. Therefore, they need to know the safety rules of the laboratory first before doing any activity to prevent unwanted accidents from happening. For this reason, this project proposes a solution that can resolve this problem among school students in the form of training. This training is titled as instructional training virtual reality (ITVR). This project allows school students the opportunity to apply, evaluate, improve their skills in a safe and controlled learning environment, and improve their memory of laboratory rules. In other words, VR simulation allows students to be aware and know what to do in the event of an accident. In addition, it is also a diverse and effective distance education and training. The system has been updated with better memory management, seamless integration between tutorials and levels of trainings. Furthermore, the system has been optimized with better texture rendering, text locations and placement of portals to activate each of the tutorials. User can interacts with the lab facilities and real time hazard helps in better immersion with the situation and questions and answer provide better understanding of the lab safety and the actions needed through gamification method.
