GM004

Every year, orientation day will be taken in every school in USM especially school of Computer Science (CS). It is a yearly event for every new student. This help students to learn more about the school and cultivate a sense of love for the school. In 2020, the world being attacked by the Covid-19 including Malaysia. A lot of activity being cancelled due to the pandemic and we have to avoid indoor, crowded places and inadequately ventilated spaces because the virus can spread from an infected persons mouth or nose when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breath heavily. Therefore, during this pandemic Covid-19 era, students are prohibited going back to campus and having their orientation day. Hence, students are unable to know about the school of CS deeply and lacking a lot of information. So, this project aims to overcome this issue by having a video games as a virtual orientation replacing the traditional orientation day. The game will involve the structure of building of the school of CS and some game elements that help students get more information about CS. This game will be developed using Unity and some coding with C# language. The game can be play as single player or multiplayer. Students can play with their friends and can communicate with each other. Throughout the game, students will able to recognize the building of CS and increase the knowledge about CS.
