TOXLAND ADVENTURE V2 : Multiplayer VR BASED SNAKE AND LADDER GAME FOR TOXICOLOGY EDUCATION

GM003

Toxland Adventure 2 is a Virtual Reality game for primary toxicology education as the gamification of the board game made by National Poison Center.

First, the player must wear an Oculus Quest VR headset with two joysticks as controllers. The game starts with a Hogwarts stadium including a player token and a game board consists of 7*8 boxes that include four types of boxes, blue boxes, red boxes, Q&A boxes, and regular boxes. Meanwhile, the player can use the left-hand joystick to move around and use the right-hand joystick to change the direction of movement. Next, the player uses the right-hand joystick to clicks the Roll Dice button to trigger its movement box by box based on the value of rolled dice. For example, if the player gets a six, the player token will move its position forward for six boxes. If the player moves on the regular box, nothing will happen. However, if it moves on the blue box, the system will display a video showing a video related to a good toxicological behavior, then add extra forward movements for it. On the other hand, if it is on the red box, the system will play a video linked with a bad toxicological behavior, then add extra backward movements for it. Furthermore, if it is on the Q&A box, it will trigger a Q&A event that a random question displaying on the screen, the player has to choose between Betul and Salah. If the answer is correct, add one point to the player's score and vice versa. When the player token is about to reach the final box, the player must roll an exact same value as the distance, or it will move backward instead.
